This was a small project assigned to our team in order to establish team building skills. However, our team had a great time coming up with the end-product. On this project, I edited the vector artwork to get ready for the vinyl cutting machine. I was also tasked with the photography of the end result.
This was a small project assigned to our team in order to establish team building skills. However, our team had a great time coming up with the end-product. On this project, I edited the vector artwork to get ready for the vinyl cutting machine. I was also tasked with the photography of the end result.
Our team modeled the pot in SOLIDWORKS software and the output file was used with a 3D printer. Our team utilized the Fab-Lab Services at University of Texas at Arlington, which has a 3D printer, filaments, and vinyl cutter we could use for the project. After this was done, we attached the vinyl pieces to the final printed pot. I then photographed various pictures for our presentation.
